CGA Commando Dagger

At the recent Regimental Boxing Night at HMS Drake the CGA President, Brigadier (Retd) G L Kerr presents L/Bdr Tony Makin with the recently commissioned CGA Commando Dagger* (made from shell cases used by the Regiment in Afghanistan).  L/Bdr Makin was selected for the award after displaying 'true commando spirit and determination' in overcoming the amputation of his lower leg following an incident on Op Herrick last year.  After extensive rehabilitation he has since rejoined the unit, passed his leadership course and fully intends to complete a PTI's Course in the not too distant future.  A real inspiration to us all.
